Is a false ceiling necessary in every room?
No. A false ceiling is useful for concealed lighting or hiding beams and AC ducts. In rooms with low ceiling height, a simple cove or profile light along one wall often works better.
Should wardrobes go up to the ceiling?
In most Indian homes, yes. Full-height wardrobes with a loft store suitcases and seasonal items and avoid a dust shelf on top.
Quartz or granite for an Indian kitchen?
Granite handles heat and heavy daily cooking very well. Quartz is non-porous and uniform but needs trivets for hot vessels. Both are good choices when installed well.
How much contingency should I keep?
Keep 8–10% of your interior budget as contingency for site surprises and small upgrades.
How long do interiors usually take?
A typical 2BHK or 3BHK takes 45–90 days after design sign-off, depending on scope, factory lead times and site readiness.
